Carnegie Arts Center

Instructors at the Carnegie Arts Center hold degrees and/or have

significant experience in their field.  If interested in teaching at the

Carnegie Arts Center, please contact the Education and Outreach Coordinator.


Internships and volunteer opportunities are also available.


The Carnegie Arts Center is currently looking for qualified guitar instructors.

Applicants must:

     read music and be able to teach students to read music

     have knowledge of the fundamentals of music (theory, counting, rhythm, etc.)

     have 8+ years experience with the guitar (not necessarily teaching guitar)

     be able to work several afternoons and evenings each week

     have reliable transportation


Preferred applicants:

     will have at least a bachelors degree in music/music education

     will have several years experience teaching the guitar
