Internships

2010/2011 School Year

Carnegie Arts Center interns experience the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running an arts center or other non-profit agency.  Interns with experience in the fine arts may have the opportunity to assist faculty members in preparing for and teaching art, pottery, drama, or music classes.

All internships are unpaid, but may be counted towards college credit.  In order for internships to count towards college credit the internship must first be approved by the prospective intern's college or university.  The prospective intern must agree to work a certain number of hours per week for the duration of their internship before the internship may begin.  Hours accrued during an internship only count towards college credit if specifically arranged between the intern's college and the Carnegie Arts Center!

If interested in an internship at the Carnegie Arts Center, please contact the

Community Development Coordinator.
